GIVING TUESDAY

Global day of GIVING – NOVEMBER 28, 2023

Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving that encourages those in our communities to support organizations, such as the Women’s’ First Step House of North County (WFSHNC).

Our Door is OPEN!

We secured an amazing house in Vista and opened our sobering home for women alcoholics in April 2021. We provide an environment, free of charge, for 10 days to sobering female alcoholics who are not cared for at home or by public facilities. We also introduce these women to a 12-step recovery program and an opportunity to sober living.

Our Board of Directors and House Volunteers have been able to share their experience, strength, and hope with over 200 guests so far. Our incredible volunteers staff the house daily from 8am to 8pm, 365 days a year!

How can you help?

We have stayed active with community outreach and fundraising, but our biggest challenge has been raising money for our continued operations. Your donation will help cover our expenses for the women and keep our beautiful doors open. You can DONATE ONLINE HERE or mail a check directly to the house.
